Serving Maine’s Midcoast communities of Bowdoin, Bowdoinham, Harpswell, and Topsham, MSAD 75 is home to over 2,350 students and more than 600 faculty and staff members.

 

MSAD 75 is seeking a JV Girls' Volleyball Head Coach (Gr. 9-12) at Mt. Ararat High School to join our vibrant Athletic community. Together, we can inspire the next generation of learners and leaders.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Develop and implement an organized and comprehensive volleyball program.
• Work collaboratively with other program coaches, parents, boosters and youth organizations.
• Provide positive leadership while teaching and modeling good sportsmanship.
• Provide adequate supervision and management of team members during practices and games.
• Use current best practices to teach and develop volleyball skills while maintaining student-athlete safety.
• Report game results to Athletic Director and local media outlets.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School diploma or GED/HiSET.
• Prior Varsity head coaching experience preferred.
• Current CPR/AED certification, or ability to attain. 
• Current Sports First Aid Certification, or ability to attain. 
• Valid State of Maine Department of Education background check (CHRC) authorization.
